Wiggly Worm Salad:
A Children's Favorite
As Some Healthy Snacks

Kids are absolutely delighted by the name Wiggly Worm Salad and the look of this dessert when it is placed on the table. To see how the gummi worms wiggle their way through the gelatin is shear delight in this bowl of fun and healthy snacks.

Recipe Book

(corn, dairy, dye, egg, gluten, peanut, soy, tree nut free)

  • 8 oz box gelatin(unflavored gelatin for dye free-use orange juice or any 100% juice for coloring)
  • box of pure fruit leathers, cut into worm strips

Prepare gelatin according to package directions. (Substitute 100% juice for liquid for dye free). Spray a 9" inch pie plate with olive oil cooking spray lightly for easy removal. Refrigerate for 1 and 1/2 to two hours till slightly thickened. Press "worms" into gelatin in different patterns and place back in refrigerator for another two hours or till solid.
To unmold: dip bottom of pie plate into warm water for 15 seconds. Gently loosen edge with knife. Place a dinner plate over top of pie plate and invert. Let gelatin fall onto serving platter. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
