Sweet Potato Chips:
An Easy Alternative
For Some Healthy Snacks

Sweet Potato Chips will give you some satisfying healthy snacks without the extreme overload as shown on the glycemic index chart. If you just can't give up potato chips, this is a healthier version for you instead if you need to watch your blood glucose levels.

Recipe Book

(Corn, dairy, dye, egg, gluten, peanut, soy, tree nut free)

  • 3 sweet potatoes, cut into 1/2" slices
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Fry slices in single layer, a few at a time, in canola oil over medium heat. Keep watch, turn often. Cool on paper towels then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Add a dash of salt if desired.Serve immediately.

Makes 8 servings. One serving =100 calories, 7 grams fat, 1 gram protein, 9 grams carbohydrates, 5 mg sodium
