Spiced Nuts:
Snack Attack Fanatic
For Some Healthy Snacks

Allergy free spiced nuts mixes are quick and easy to make. Just be sure nuts is not one of your allergy triggers for someone in the family and this version is sure to become one of the family's healthy snacks..

Recipe Book

(corn,dairy, dye, egg, gluten, peanut,soy free)

  • 2 T. canola oil
  • 2 cups pecans, walnuts or combination
  • 1 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

Toss nuts with oil. Mix the spices and orange peel together well and place in a zip-lock bag with the nuts. Shake well. Spread on a ungreased baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.

Makes 8 servings. One serving=200 calories, 21 grams fat, 2 grams protein, 4 grams carbohydrates, 1 mg. sodium
