Spelt Biscuits: Perfect For The Breakfast Crowd
Spelt biscuits are perfect for the breakfast crowd when you just love your biscuit with some homemade jam or jelly.
(corn, dairy, egg, gluten, peanut, tree nut free) - 2 cups spelt flour
- 1 1/2 T. gf baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking pan. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the bottoms are browned. Makes 12 servings. 1 biscuit=72 calories 2 grams protein, 17 grams carbohydrates, 4 grams fat, 217 mg. sodium
