Potato Biscuits:
A Lunch Or Brunch Classic

Potato biscuits for a lunch or brunch with Bar-B-Q is a crowd-pleasing favorite because of its soft moist texture with just a hint of potato. This version with its same great flavor can also be used for breakfast.

Recipe Book

(egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut free)

  • 1/2 cup potato starch flour
  • 3 T. gf baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 T. shortening or butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Stir together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until everything the size of peas. Slowly add milk, stirring gently till a soft dough is formed. Lightly dust counter with potato flour. Knead dough lightly. Roll out to 1/2" thickness and cut out 9 biscuits(approximately 1/2" each). Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes till lightly browned.
