Grilled Fresh Fruit Basket: Sweet Taste Of The Tropics For Great Healthy Snacks
Grilled fresh fruit basket is a welcome combination of healthy snacks that can end a perfect summertime meal. Fresh off the grill, the fruit flavors remind you of a trip to the tropics with their bright, sweet and fruity taste.
(corn, dairy, dye, egg, gluten, peanut, soy, tree nut free) - Fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced into large chunks
- Peaches, cut in half, remove stone
- Apricots, cut in half, remove stone
- Cantaloupe, peeled and sliced in large chunks
- toasted coconut flakes, unsweetened
- One fresh lime, cut in half
Preheat the grill to medium high. Rub down a slatted grill basket with olive oil to keep fruit from sticking. Toss fruit chunks onto grill basket and place on grill approximately 5-7 minutes(adjust time according to size of your fruit)until caramelized markings show on fruit. Remove from grill. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and add a squeeze of fresh lime juice to each serving.
