Fun and Games: Healthy Snacks
And Building A Forum
For A Child's Safety

After spending the time to find some fun and games, learning how to prepare some healthy snacks, and consolidating a plan of action to insure your child's safety from their allergy, a lot of times all this seems to take a whole lot of energy with little rewards.

Any time of the year, when the kids are home and parents need to find fun snacks and games to keep the kids happy and active, the worst thing a parent can hear is "Mom, I'm bored." This dreaded phrase usually leads to the television, computer games, hand-held games, food or trouble. All of the above means your child is sitting all day long, no activity, no exercise and no means of stimulating their mind or energy levels.

This is the time when either Mom or Dad has got to step in with a quick plan of action.

Included in this section I have tried to find some quick ideas for some safe and simple fun and games, many involving very little to no cost, but still stimulating enough to make your child just beg for more "play" time. Check through the next few pages and try some of the following when you are at your wit's end trying to figure out what you can do to keep the kids, healthy, happy and active.

Just remember though, because of the differences in so many types of allergies between so many people, still be extra vigilant and verify the supplies you will be using are also safe for your situation. Just because not all of these games involve food, anyone with a latex allergy as an example may have problems with the balloons unless you verify the type you purchase is not a latex balloon.

Good old-fashioned laughter has cured many ills in everyday life and hopefully you will have the opportunity to extend many more years of trust and love through your family's immediate future.
