Fruit and Nut Crumble:
Cobbler Fans Unite

Cobblers, pies and crumbles- each is a staple from yesteryear. A morning was spent picking the fresh berries and the afternoon was used to bake them. Here is a favorite, possibly directly from your grandmother's kitchen.

Recipe Book

(corn, dairy, dye, egg, gluten, peanuts, soy and tree nut free)

  • 4 cups stewed fruit in any combination- apples, pears, blueberries, apricots, berries, dates, peaches
  • 4 T. honey
  • 1 cup seeds of your choice
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 4 T. water

Mix oil, honey, water and seeds. Spread 1/2 in bottom of a casserole dish. Add the fruit then top with other 1/2 of the seed mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
