- Eggnog, milk shake, malts
- Ghee, clarified butter
- Grout(for your bathtub)-check label
- Half-in-half
- High Protein flour
- Household paint- check label
- Hydrolysates
- Lactalbumin, lactalbumin phosphates
- Lactoglobulin
- Lactose
- Margarine- check label
- Naturalose- a new sweetener (chemical name tagatose) that is being used more frequently which is derived from whey. It can often be found in foods, drinks, snacks, mouthwash and toothpaste.

- Non-dairy creamer, whipped topping (most contain casein)
- Nougat
- Pancakes, waffles, french toast- check label

- Processed meats, luncheon meats

- Wine - casein is often added during the clarifying process to remove impurities

Milk in the following forms is off-limits: Condensed, derivatives, dry powdered, evaporated, low-fat, milk from any animal, malted, non-fat, protein, skim, solids or whole milk. During the first stages, after diagnosis, do not worry if you are nervous or scared about your immediate future. The hardest part will be upcoming within the next few weeks as you try to understand what you may have in your diet- and therefore what is necessary for you to stay away from.
